inov-8 is marking the 18th anniversary of its iconic ROCLITE footwear range with the launch of a new shoe that will help off-road runners go further this winter.
The pioneering sports brand say their new ROCLITE ULTRA G 320 is specifically designed with the comfort, grip and protection to tackle long-distance runs over soft, muddy ground as well as hard-packed trails. inov-8, who are based in the English Lake District, will officially launch the shoe tomorrow (December 1st).

The launch comes 18 years after the brand’s first-ever ROCLITE running shoe was unveiled. In that time, ROCLITE ranged footwear has won countless awards worldwide and been worn by record-breaking trail runners.
This newest addition is the most cushioned ROCLITE to date, helping give runners extra comfort over longer distances. It is also the first to feature the use of Graphene – the world’s strongest material – in both its rubber studded outsole and foam cushioned midsole, enhancing longer-lasting performance and durability.
The studs themselves are 6mm in depth and longer than those found on inov-8’s shoes designed specifically for hard-packed trails. This allows them to grip better in muddy winter conditions. Wayne Edy, who founded inov-8 in 2003, said: “We were only in our second year when we launched the first-ever ROCLITE shoe, the ROCLITE 315. It makes me immensely proud to see how well the range has stood the test of time, proving popular with both loyal followers and those new to the brand. The new shoe brings together much of the expertise we have gathered over those 18 years and spearheads our propulsion into 2023 when we’ll celebrate another major milestone – 20 years as a business.”
