USATF 2024 Mountain Ultra Trail Championships Calendar

The USATF Mountain Ultra Trail championships calendar is set for 2024. Eleven events will be staged featuring distances from 10 kilometers to 100 miles as well as 24 hours, on road, trail, and mountain terrain. Nine states – Nevada, New York, New Hampshire, California, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Arkansas, Utah, Wisconsin – will host a championship with two of those states (Utah and Wisconsin) earning the honor of hosting two championships.

Awards

Awards will be distributed and include medals, patches and a total of $48,550 in prize money. The top ten men and women overall will earn medals as will the top three men and women in five year masters’ age groups starting at 40. In the sub-ultra distances, there will also be medals awarded to the top three junior men and women in the U20 division. National championship patches will be presented to the overall male and female as well as each of the masters’ division champions.

In order to compete in a championship event, registrants must be citizens of the United States, current USATF members and eligible to represent the United States in international competition.

Schedule

The first race kicks off the season in February with the final event in November. With this number of championships, there is sure to be an event for all MUT enthusiasts.

Team USA

#cleansport

In an effort to promote #cleansport, athletes who participate in National Championships and Team USA competitions are subject to drug testing performed by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) in accordance with the USADA Protocol for Olympic and Paralympic Movement Testing.
