We’re Partnering with OrthoLite to “Connect with the Trail”

Here at the American Trail Running Association (ATRA) we’re excited to announce the launch of our newest program, Connect with the Trail, a grassroots, community-building initiative sponsored by OrthoLite, with additional support from Salomon Running and Balega.

#ConnectWithTheTrail invites trail runners to share meaningful photos & videos from their trail running experiences on Instagram or Twitter, using #ConnectWithTheTrail and tagging ATRA and OrthoLite for an opportunity to win a curated product package from OrthoLite, Salomon Running and Balega.

Photos & videos submitted as part of the #ConnectWithTheTrail program should fall into one of the following categories, with a goal of inspiring other trail runners and sparking a constructive conversation in our community:

  • Emotion: Show the emotion you experience on the trails and illicit a “wow” response from the viewers.
  • Responsibility: Reflect our 2019 theme “Trail Running Responsibly,” showing runners sharing the trail with other users (e.g., running with their leashed dog, or helping on a trail maintenance day).
  • Community: Celebrate diversity, equality and inclusion at trail races, or on group runs.

Each month, our team will select an image that best represents at least one of the above categories to be featured on our social media channels and website. The individual who submitted the selected image will receive a custom package of products from Connect with the Trail’s presenting sponsor, OrthoLite, and supporting partners, Salomon and Balega.
