The new logo represents an effort to design and manufacture cutting-edge products, and a renewed focus on eco-friendly options for performance and lifestyle wear.
With more than 80 designs created by an in-house design staff of four artists, owner Leslie Jordan chose an understated representation of her initials that is both classic and abstract. “I want our customers to be able to tell us what they think it means,” Leslie explains. At a recent tradeshow, Leslie asked several customers what they saw in the logo, and the results were surprising. “We’ve heard that it looks like an “LJ” and even the Star Trek logo!” she laughs. In addition to highlighting the company’s long-standing commitment to innovative, high-quality products, the logo also represents renewed efforts to create more eco-friendly options for events. Leslie Jordan, Inc. has introduced a new line of recycled polyester shirts aimed at reduce the amount of plastic bottles in landfills by utilizing them in the production of performance and lifestyle fabrics.
“As an industry leader, we recognized the need for race directors to provide more eco-friendly options for their participants. Many of our event partners are making strides to lessen the impact of large-scale events, and we are proud to provide more options that also help our environment,” Leslie explains.
The new recycled options are available as both in-stock inventory and custom options. Along with new recycled options, Leslie Jordan, Inc. is continuing to update and expand their offerings in performance and lifestyle apparel and accessories, including the creation and production of medals. Products will be on display at several shows in 2020, including the RunSignUp Winter Symposium (Jan 13-14) and the Running USA Industry Conference (Feb. 9-11).
