Aravaipa Running’s Hayley Pollack joins the USATF MUT Executive Committee

Hayley Pollack has joined USA Track & Field’s Mountain, Ultra, Trail (MUT) Executive Committee. This 14-member committee is made up of elite athletes, coaches and administrators with deep expertise in MUT running and is led by American Trail Running Association founder and executive director Nancy Hobbs. The committee is responsible for managing USATF’s MUT national championship series, overseeing rules for sanctioned MUT races and selecting elite athletes for international teams.

Hayley Pollack is President of Aravaipa Running, a trail and ultra-running event production company based in Phoenix, Arizona, where she currently oversees the management of 40+ events per year. Hayley started with Aravaipa Running in 2015 as their Director of Operations, bringing her background in management and a Master’s Degree in Strategic Leadership to the company and helped form Aravaipa’s current organizational structure.

Hayley has been running for most of her life and competing in ultras since 2010. Hayley ran cross country in high school and college and fell in love with longer distances once she discovered trail running. Hayley is an avid outdoor enthusiast and loves to explore the world on her own two feet any chance she gets.

Other committee members include Howard Nippert, Richard Bolt, Joe Jurczyk, Roy Pirrung, Addie Bracy, Brandy Erholtz, Max King, Maria Dalzot, Michael Wardian, David Fuentes, Eric Blake and Meghan Laws. This group meets via conference calls once per month to manage MUT Council initiatives between the annual meeting held each December.
