In cooperation with local event organizers and The Pulse Running and Fitness Shop of Meridian Idaho, United States Snowshoe Association (USSSA) is pleased to announce the 2023 edition of the U.S. National Snowshoe Racing Championships will be held at Jug Mountain Ranch in McCall, Idaho on Saturday, February 4, 2023.
Junior and Senior National Championship
The Senior Championship event will consist of a men’s and women’s 10-kilometer race. The Junior Nationals Championship will take place during the 5k race. The top five men and women from each event will make the U.S. national snowshoe team. The top five master’s men and women will also be recognized, as will age-group winners.
Participants do not need to qualify to compete—anyone is welcome to race in the national championships, and those wanting a less competitive or shorter event may participate in the 5K race. The weekend will be family friendly and include a kids kilo snowshoe event.
Rental snowshoes and United States Snowshoe Association merchandise will be available onsite. More information available at https://www.ussnowshoe.com/
