The course

The Moab Trail Half Marathon starts at the Pritchett Canyon entrance and proceeds up Pritchett Canyon trail (5.7 miles) and connects to Hunter Canyon Rim trail (1.8 miles). The route runs along the Hunter Canyon Rim single-track and down to Kane Creek Road (2.2 miles), and then the course turns right. The route continues up the infamous Kane Road switchbacks for about a mile, then back down to the Hymasa singletrack into the depths of Kane Creek drainage. Continue for 1 mile in the drainage, exiting at the Amasa Back parking lot for another half mile dirt road before the final half mile of singletrack with two crossings of Kane Creek before the finish.

Criteria and rules for the Collegiate Trail Running Championships division

Participants must be enrolled in a University/College as a student (BA or Graduate+) and be enrolled in a minimum of 6 current credits (per athlete).

Team members must wear their respective school-team singlet or uniform that is consistent with everyone on the team. All participating collegiate runners will start in the USATF Half Marathon wave at 10am on race day – November 4.
