OrthoLite: the Official Insole of the American Trail Running Association

Colorado Springs, CO —– The American Trail Running Association (ATRA), announced that OrthoLite has renewed their partnership and will continue to be known as the official insole of ATRA.

OrthoLite has been a major supporter of ATRA since the mid 2000s , the most of which has been as an official partner. “In 2016, our commitment to helping athletes perform at their best remains a priority for OrthoLite,” said Pamela Gelsomini, OrthoLite president. “We’re proud to continue our nearly decade-long partnership with ATRA to help its members achieve the ultimate trail experience through our comfortable foam insoles, no matter the terrain or weather.”

Adam W. Chase, ATRA president remarked, “There are companies that say they support trail runners and, granted, many do so by making great trail products and through promotional efforts, such as funding athletes through sponsorship. But, OrthoLite sees that and raises the stakes by supporting the very organization that offers programs to protect trails, set race standards and fight for the future of the sport. ATRA is incredibly appreciative of OrthoLite’s continued commitment and the high level of support the company provides to trail running.”

ATRA is dedicated to providing educational tools such as its events standards program which debuted in March 2012, and recently added a partnership component. Additional content is offered through its quarterly newsletter – Trail Times, and monthly e-blasts. In 2016, a sustainability document for race directors is planned as well as standards for trail running camps.

ATRA launched a redesigned website in 2015 which dovetails with ATRA’s social media presence, all of which are expertly managed by online marketing director Richard Bolt. The website provides information for participants and fans of the sport and features relevant content including the new Trail News section, a comprehensive event calendar, and links to reliable resources for trail runners of all abilities. Bolt will work closely with OrthoLite to integrate the brand on ATRA’s various social media channels.

A non-profit 501 (c ) 3 corporation based in Colorado, ATRA was founded in 1996, with a mission to represent and promote trail and mountain running.
