Wild Mount Trail Run
Cave Hill Creek, 110 The Glut Road, Raglan, Victoria , Australia
Set amidst the magnificent Mt Cole State Forest and Buangor State Park just a few hours west of Melbourne, Wild Mount is going to whisk you away on a cracking trail experience. And with three distances of 21, 11 or 5km there is something for every trailophile* to sign off the year in running style.
The singletrack is absolutely primo with ribbons of dirt and rock cutting through stunningly beautiful bushland, there is enough vert to get your heart going and your thighs singing, and the vibe of the event is top shelf. The profiles of the courses does hint at just a little bit of ascent, at 913m in the 21km loop and 573m for the 11km, but hey, who doesn’t love a mountain?
This one’s a stunner.
