Wild Goose Chase Trail Race

The 4Mile is a trail race that begins on hardtop road, turns to dirt/gravel road within the first ¼ mile and then proceeds onto a challenging and wooded trail-run through State Game Land #46, ending where it began at the Visitor’s Center. You might want to bring your ‘mud’ sneakers for this trail run. The 10K will follow a macadam road that meanders through the relatively flat terrain of Middle Creek’s goose management area before returning to the start/finish line on gravel/dirt/ paved surfaces. The 10K will completely circle the 400+ acre lake that is home to as many as 200,000 migrating Canada and Snow Geese during various times of the year.
