Welcome to the registration page for the Taskinas Creek Half Marathon in York River State Park, Williamsburg, VA. Last year this race was a FULL Marathon and I decided to try it as a half this year. Why? Why not? The course will still include the same final 2 miles from the marathon course (epic and tough!). Registration is limited to 150 registrants. The course will include single track trails, fire road type trails and a short road portion. Time limit for the race is 4.5 hours. https://www.dcr.virginia.gov/state-parks/adventure-seriesThe trail is a mixture of surfaces, over half single track mountain bike trail. About 1 mile of pavement and the remainder dirt fire-type road. I will post the elevation as soon as I have it, I am finalizing the course, but I would guess it will be around 600ft. Rolling terrain and some nice flat single track too. The course features many scenic views throughout!
