When you register for this race, your credit card won’t be charged until we confirm that the race is happening. Your credit card will not be charged until you accept the invite from us in an email we will send out closer to the race date. Please note, once we send out the invite and you accept it and have your credit card charged, we do not issue refunds on the non-refundable registration fee for any reason.

SAND SQUATCH

Join us on Saturday May 1, 2021 at Island Beach State Park in Seaside Park, NJ for our second annual SAND SQUATCH BEACH RACE! One of the few 100% beach races offered in NJ, we are excited to offer several different events at the 2021 Sand Squatch! Our race is a part of the park’s MAY DAY FESTIVAL AND PET EXPO! The Festival and Pet Expo features craft vendors, food, music, family fun, and more! This is the one Sassquad event that we allow and encourage runners to bring their (leashed) dog with them!

RACE DETAILS

Runners can sign-up for a 4-miler or an 8-miler. This year we are also hosting a 1 mile DOGGIE DASH!

Doggie Dashers will run 1/2 mile out and back to complete the 1 mile

4 and 8 mile runners will run down to the water and go 2 miles out to the right and back (that will conclude the 4 mile event) and then the 8 milers will continue to run 2 miles out to the left and back.

Here is the order of events:
3PM 1 mile Doggie Dash start (check-in between 2PM-2:30PM)
4:00PM 4 mile and 8 mile start (check-in between 2:30PM-3:30PM)
