Run Wild Trail Camp (RWTC) is a 12-week summer camp for 8 through 11 year olds in the Globeville and Elyria/Swansea neighborhoods that will focus on teaching the participants about trail running and how to keep themselves, their communities, and their environment healthy and thriving. Each week will include a fun run at the local parks and a short lesson about the environment. The Saturday after the last session, we will have a fun 2-mile race, thanks to our friends at SufferBetter. By the end of the camp, the participants will come away with not only more excitement for the trails, but they will also have built a strong community and have developed the needed tools for taking care of the environment.
