Description:

The 54 mile course will start/finish at Buffalo Bike Lodge in Colorado Springs. Head into Garden of the Gods, past balanced rock, and turn onto Rampart Range Road to begin your long climb up to Rampart Reservoir. Gain ~4000 feet in a 19.5 mile climb up to the Rainbow Gulch Trailhead before enjoying a short descent to the reservoir. Savor the singletrack with views of the water as you make your way around the reservoir and climb back up to the Rainbow Gulch Trailhead. From there, it’s a screaming descent back down Rampart Range Road to cross the finish line at Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort, where you’ll be welcomed by live music, cold drinks, and a good ol’ Ram Party.

The 50K course will also start/finish at Buffalo Lodge in Colorado Springs. Runners will follow the same course as the 50 Mile runners but turn at the halfway point up Rampart Range Road. You will enjoy views of Pikes Peak and the Front Range and you ascend and descend!

On Sunday, Heavy Half & Marathon runners start their day from the Rainbow Gulch Trailhead in Woodland Park. Runners enjoy flow singletrack and epic views as they make their way around the reservoir either once (half) or twice (marathon).

9 Mile & 5K runners also start from Rainbow Gulch Trailhead and complete a loop unique to their distance.
