Nimble Bear

Description:

Rarely do you get epic views on a short course, however Rose Valley delivers for all distances in Nimble Bear. Racers follow the same course as the 50k & 25k runners and will get to experience the famous figure 8 section of dazzling single track. The 25k starts out leaving Rose Valley school grounds and quickly enters into the park on a steady single track climb. Runners will be treated to the first fun switchback descent in the race which drops them down into more amazing single track and outstanding views.

Aid Station #1 will be reached at the 10.5k point of the race and runners will want to fuel up because the next aid is 9.5k away and there is a monster climb, that takes runners under a cool rock bridge, in-between the two aid stations. The descent is twisty and fun and will links into Aid Station #2 at 20k. From here, the last 5km is NO walk in the park and runners have a lot of work ahead of them as they hit a tight single track trail that will once again lead them up to high vistas before traversing back to the finish line at Rose Valley Elementary School to complete one big loop.
