National High School Trail Championships and Citizen’s Race
F and Sackett, Salida CO, 81201, USA
The National High School Trail Championship (NHSTC) is a trail race for high school athletes. The Beas Knees Citizens’ Race, which gets things kicked off is for those not in high school and has historically featured some top collegiate and masters talent as well. Every year, the USA is represented at the world trail championships by athletes who have shown the mettle at the NHSTC. The ninth annual NHSTC/Beas Knees is slated for Saturday, July 26, 2025 in Salida, Colorado. The race features switchbacks, climbs, descents and rocks to give athletes the opportunity to showcase their strength, finesse and trail running prowess.
We are thrilled to be able to host the Beas Knees Citizens’ Race and National High School Trail Championships on July 26. The course will remain the same as in 2020 and we anticipate the competition to be running at a high level as usual. As always, we want to encourage you to “Rub a little dirt on it!”
