Nashville Orienteering @ Cedar Hill Park – February

We are excited to announce our second event of 2023! This week, we return to Cedar Hill Park for three newly-designed courses.

Orienteering is a sport that involves navigation through unfamiliar terrain using a map and compass. A topographic map of the terrain is provided at each event. The map illustrates vegetation, water, changes in elevation, and other land features. Your task is to navigate to each control point (which are circled on the map) in numerical order.

Participants may choose one of the following three courses according to level of experience:
– White = simple; for beginners
– Orange = more challenging; longer distance
– Red = advanced; longer distance

**Participants may start anytime between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

$12 for adults

$8 for juniors (20 years and under on 12/31/2023)

Please bring water and a whistle!
