Description:

All proceeds go to the Ashland Woodlands and Trails Association. When the event fills, registration will be closed. Join us for the 40th Annual Mt. Ashland Hillclimb Run. This 13.3 mile event begins in downtown Ashland’s beautiful Lithia Park (el 1900′) and climbs on tree-canopied dirt roads and trails to finish on the Mt. Ashland summit (7533′), for a total of over 5,600′ of climbing–that’s over a vertical mile! The Mt Ashland Hill Climb Run is among the races with most elevation gain of any continuous hill climb in the continental United States. The following cut-off times will be enforced on race day: 10:15 am to Four Corners (~7 miles), 11:30am to Bull Gap (~11.3 miles) and 12:15am to the Lodge (~13 miles). Everyone starts at 7:30am. Start is on Winburn Way in front of Sesame Asian Kitchen right at Lithia Park. There are no early starts. Race packet pickup is the day before, between 3pm and 6pm, at Rogue Valley Runners, 161 E. Main St, downtown Ashland or at least 20-minutes before race start. Participants are responsible for getting themselves back to Ashland. We will be offering bus rides, for free, however you must sign up for this service in advance.
