Description:

Registration is now open for the 13th edition of the Lagoon Valley Trail Run in rustic Vacaville on September 14, 2019. The event showcases the area’s beautiful, scenic views and expansive natural lakes that Vacaville is known for, nestled midway between San Francisco and Sacramento with beautiful rolling hillsides and numerous fruit orchards and farms. The event, starting in Lagoon Valley Regional Park, provides runners with a beautiful running environment as the trails that make up this rugged terrain offer up a unique challenge.

The trails are well marked with colored ribbons, flour and signs along with course volunteers to provide the best trail running experience in the area. The courses offer extensive, hard packed dirt and gravel single track routes throughout the park as the trails are also used for biking events and have been expertly carved out for a wide variety of running and hiking.

The race was established to generate proceeds that will support high school cross-country programs in the Vacaville area. We offer a variety of trail distances for all levels including a 30K, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and Family 1/2 Mile.
