King of the Mountain – Bankhead Road Challenge

King of the Mountain & Queen of the Mountain, is a new race at Monte Sano State Park. The race will start at the top of closed Bankhead road and run down to the bottom and straight back up (242ft of gain over 2 kilometers) . We will track the split between the start at the top of the mountain, split at the bottom of the mountain, and finish time. We were inspired by the mountain stages of the Tour de France and the awarding of the polka dot jersey. Make your mark as Queen or King of the Mountain!
