Frozen Trail RunFest

Start/Finish: At the horse arena staging area, to the north of the northern trailhead. Left after you cross the river; watch for signs.
Time Limit: The 50K has a time limit of 8 hours. All courses will close at 4pm.
Surface: Expect wet & muddy conditions on the flat sections of Base Loop 1 and Base Loop 2. Steep Summit Loop has a short section on packed gravel road. (the .64 out & back section to AID2 is gravel as well) The rest of the courses cover very well maintained trails of varying trail width and surfaces. Base Loop 1, 2 & Summit Loop all have small creek crossings.
Aid Stations: Please check the respective distance map for the aid locations. Events that loop back to the start/finish area before continuing onto the next loop, (25K/50K) will have a “transition” aid station at the start/finish area. Be prepared to provide your BIB# at each pass through the transition area. This is for athlete tracking & to capture splits. Aid stations will be supplied with first aid, water, GU Brew, GU Energy Gel, & light snacks.
