Dec 05, 2026 at 9:00 AM

107 Chuckanut Dr N, Bellingham WA, 98225, USA

The 2025 Fairhaven Frosty 10k and 5k is On!  Please join us for a very fun and festive event located at the Fairhaven Park in Bellingham, WA, on December 4th. Runners can run or walk either the 5K (1 lap) or 10K (2 laps).

This year’s run will be a live event capped at 150 runners, so register early.  With COVID considerations in mind, both the 10k and the 5k will have an open start with runners starting any time they wish between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.  We’re going ‘old school’ with fun in mind and there will be no timing or awards.  But, there will holiday music, holiday treats and costumes are encouraged.  The organizers will be handing out ‘spot’ chocolate awards to those runners sporting the best holiday and snow-themed costumes!

Here are important additional details, including vaccination/test requirements. Please understand that we are attempting to follow state protocols and provide a safe and enjoyable, live event.

Course Information
The 5K course follows a large loop on roads and hard pack trails. The 10K course is a repeat of the 5K course. These are the traditional courses. At no time do you cross a road.
The race starts just inside Fairhaven Park at the juncture of the entrance road and the sidewalk leading to the park building. Start facing Chuckanut Drive, head out of the park and immediately turn left onto the sidewalk on Chuckanut Drive heading left (south). The largest hill, about 100 feet, occurs in the first 1/2 mile. The course continues on Chuckanut Drive, going back downhill then turns left on Old Samish Hwy for a very short time before turning left onto the Interurban Trail. Follow the Interurban trail north for almost a mile before the route leaves the Interurban with a quick right and immediate left (west) out onto the Fairhaven Parkway sidewalk heading towards Fairhaven. At the stoplight do not cross but turn left (south) onto Chuckanut Drive and proceed along the sidewalk, over the bridge and through another stoplight, until returning to the Fairhaven Park entrance on your left, and the finish line (where you started). The 10K course will repeat this 5K route one more time.
