Description:

The sports event will start and end in Azpeitia, and in the meantime, the runners will have to pass the following beautiful towns and mountains in the region:

Towns: Azpeitia, Rezil, Bidania-Goiatz and Beizama.
Mountains (meters): Arroita or Arauntza (612), Sañu (616), Gazume (1002), Hernio (1078), Murumendi (868), Izaspi (973), Hiruarrieta or Samiño (933) and Xoxote (912).

The organizers are clear that the main objective of the Domusa Teknik 40 MLK project is not only to organize an interesting and important mountain race. In addition to this goal, we also want to promote mountaineering and tourism and the economy of all these towns, by making the participants of the race and the public aware of the local corners, natural sites and cultural and architectural heritage. At the end of the day, mountaineering, the richness of the local dialects and the protection of the environment are the values we want to promote through this sporting event, and at the same time we would like people to identify with these ideas and associate the Domusa Teknik 40 MLK mountain race.
