Discrete Peak Series – Alta

Description:

A new trail running series focused on shorter distances with an emphasis on conquering peaks. Each race, starting at the base lodge of various mountain resorts, you will run, scramble, hike, and trek your way to the peak before descending back down to the finish. Once you are done competing, hang out in our vendor village, grab some dinner or a drink, and listen to live music. The post race festivities are complete with a raffle, ceremony presentation, and gear giveaways. The Discrete Peak Series kicks off at Alta Ski Area with a 5.9 mile course that includes 2,545 ft of climbing. The event will be based out of Albion Lodge with a course that includes famous trails like Greely and the High -t, while taking you to the peak of Baldy, before returning back to Albion Grill. Our vendor village will include demo’s from Salomon and Suunto, local live music, and food & drinks brought to us from the Albion Lodge staff.
