Description:

THE 2019 EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

Deer Flats After Dark Trail Runs has 11 mi, 16 mi and 32 mi distances at the Reiter Foothills Forest motorized trails. Races start just before sunset and going into the night. The course is a mix of 4×4 trails winding through the forest, rolling and winding double track ATV and single track dirt bike trails, and logging roads. There are fast and flat sections, runnable hills, some short and steep climbs, and rocky technical descents. The 11 mi has approximately 1800 ft elevation gain, 2200 ft for the 16 mi, and 4400 ft for the 32 mi. Aid stations are approximately every 3-5 mi. Runners must carry a light and back up light or extra batteries, and an emergency whistle.
