Description:

Both races start and finish at Hancock Park in Dahlonega. The 10k leaves Hancock Park over to run a loop around 3.6 miles Lake Zwerner Trail, and then heads back to Hancock Park. The course is road and trail, and more challenging than the 5k distance. Those who don’t want to brave the trails can choose the 5k race which is 100% on the road; because of this it is also friendly to those who want to walk. After the race, be sure to grab some refreshments and spend some time learning about native flora and fauna of the area with local naturalists! Enjoy the music in the park and our Wine and Beer Garden. Join us on the square and at Hancock Park the rest of the weekend at the Dahlonega Trail Fest.
