Description:

Don’t be fooled by the relatively short distance of this race. This great 5 Miler manages to pack in all forms of trail running to test even the most seasoned trail junkies. On the single track course (map) you will encounter rocks, gnarly roots, rolling hills, stream crossings, a few climbs, and some speedy (scary) rocky downhill descents! Course marshals will be stationed throughout the race, in addition to the well-marked trail, to provide assistance and direction. A water stop will also be available, and you will pass there twice at Miles 1.5 and 4.
