Big Timber XC Challenge

8K (approx 5m) cross country-style race at Camp Big Timber in Elgin, IL. Course is through and around property over grass, crushed stone and wooded areas. There is a creek crossing (knee-deep water). Sponsored by Saucony and Dick Pond Athletics. Race proceeds will benefit the Three Fires Council Boy Scouts of America and the Boys & Girls Club of Elgin. All participants receive an embroidered knit hat and pancake breakfast; tickets can be purchased for breakfast for family and friends on race day. Awards to top Male and Female overall winners and age groups. Team Competition will also be available. Costumes are welcome. Pre-race day packet pick-up at Dick Pond Athletics, 303 N 2nd St, St. Charles, IL, from 2:00-5:00pm on Saturday, November 16.
