Description:

The Big Buffalo 50 Ultra Marathon is a one-of-a-kind event featuring a 50-mile race, a 50-mile relay, and a 5k relay amidst the beautiful backdrop of Shelby Farms Park, one of the largest urban parks in the world! The course consists of approximately 80% trail and 20% road and is considered to be relatively easy, making it the perfect opportunity for a PR. It is a looped course, offering lots of encouragement from the crowd along the way. Runners set up tents and enjoy food and beverages from the on-site food trucks, creating a tailgate-like experience. With an inflatable obstacle course for the kids, the Big Buffalo is a fun day for the whole family. Participants receive a truckers hat and hoodie along with two food and beverage tokens to use at their discretion. 100% of all proceeds benefit the Cancer Kickers Soccer Club, a Memphis-based nonprofit organization that helps kids fight cancer with teamwork.
