Description:

The Bent Sprockets club would like to invite you to Newcastle, Wyoming to the Flying V trails for a fun trail race in memory of Bill Kohlbrand. Bill enjoyed being outside whether cruising a timber sale, riding his mountain bike, or spending time outside with family or friends. He also had a vision to build local trails for generations to enjoy, including both the Serenity Trails as well as the Flying V Trail system. Bent Sprockets has picked up and continued his vision by continuing to maintain the local trails, while also adding to them.

The Flying V trail system is the perfect place to honor Bill’s vision and to enjoy a day on the trails. While our main goal was to get people outside and to show off our wonderful trails, any proceeds from the race will go to help continue trail work for our community and improve local access to our natural areas.

We be offering 3 different race distances including 5K, 10k, and 20K. We are also happy to have anyone that wants to come and walk our 5K or 10K courses as well!
