Description:

Come join the Bear Bait family for an old school, low key, and well-organized ultra at the beautiful Blackwater River Forest, Bear Lake area. Challenge yourself to one of our 100km, 50 mile, 50km, and 25km distance runs. The course offers relatively flat terrain on mostly single-track trail promising an enjoyable running experience and great possibility for a PR.

Every participant that registers by December 18th will receive an official Patagonia race shirt.

Every finisher of the distance they start will receive a Bear Bait finisher’s amulet, handcrafted by our friend Tracy Thomas.
The Race

With a lap distance of 4 miles, the 100km runners can expect to contend with a grueling 16 laps, the 50 mile runners can expect to contend with 13 laps, while 50km runners will traverse 8 laps, and 25km runners will enjoy a leisurely 4 laps around the perimeter of Bear Lake.

An aid station will mark the start/end of each 4 mile lap at the Bear Lake pavilion(with bathrooms). The aid station will be adequately stocked with typical ultra fare(M&M’s, chips, pretzels, coke, sports drink, etc.). If you require any specific food/beverage, bring it!!

Handcrafted awards from our friend Tracy Thomas will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers in the 100km, 50M, 50km, and 25km events.
