Description:

The Barn Burner Run course will offer up a variety of challenging terrain. You’ll be running high through the sprawling Ponderosa Pines in the Kaibab and Coconino National Forest on your way to the finish line.

*UPDATE 9/18/2021* – 10k run course that has been modified – there were unpassable roads that were not noted by USFS when they originally approved our courses. The 10k (and last 6 miles of the 50k) will be on an out and back course.

50K Course: Our 50k course consists of two off-road loops, starting out with a big 25 mile lap before returning to the start/finish to head out for the remaining 6 miles along the 10k course. You’ll navigate forest service roads, singletrack and punchy climbs throughout the day. Bring your lungs, you’ll be topping out at over 8,000’ elevation!

(*Update 9/18/2021*) 10k Course: The 10k course covers the final loop of the longer course, undulating through the pine trees, twisting and turning through the woods along a scenic and adventurous 6 mile out and back course. Hovering at about 7,200’ elevation, you’re sure to put those lungs and legs to the test.
