The Russian Athletics Federation (RusAF) has been suspended from World Athletics and WMRA competition since 2015, due to doping violations, and has not been eligible to host or send teams to our championships.

On March 1, 2022, the World Athletics Council agreed to impose sanctions against the Member Federations of Russia and Belarus as a consequence of the invasion of Ukraine. The WMRA supports this decision.
