Hello Snowshoe Enthusiasts and Happy Race Week!
If you are getting this email you are signed up for the United States Snowshoe National Championships coming up this Sunday at the Lakewoods Resort in Cable, WI. We are excited to host you in Wisconsin, back up at the Lakewoods Resort, where we had a great nationals in 2019. Not signed up yet? It’s not too late! REGISTER HERE.

Weekend Schedule
Registration required for all events
Saturday March 12
- 11am Kids Kilo Snowshoe – Get the kids out for a snowshoe hike or run! Great for all ages.
- 6pm – 7:30pm Evening snowshoe hike, including campfire and hot chocolate
- 5:30pm In-formal pizza party at the Lakewoods Bar and Grill
(see menu). Great time to meet and greet with fellow snowshoe racers!
Sunday March 13
- 9am 5k and 10k snowshoe (course map)
- 10:15 Awards (location pending weather, but likely indoors)
Volunteers
Thank you to those that signed up so far to help out- link here if you want to see what is still needed. A couple more serious requests – Photo/video – if you have any nice gear to get some shots send me a reply to this. This could be paid gig. Announcing – somehow I have not been able to find someone to take this spot. Nothing fancy here, just sharing info on the timings, racer info, etc. Sunday morning 8:30-10:30am (give or take).

Course
5k groomed course with lots of hills! It is 2 loops for the 10k. Very spectator friendly!
5K and 10K courses.
Awards
Awards to follow as soon as results are compiled (10k only) on Sunday. Ceremony for Top 5 overall men and women, who will make the National Team. Age group awards to top 3 in 10 year increments. 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, etc.
