Marathon Printing becomes partner in Event Standards Program

The American Trail Running Association (ATRA) announces Marathon Printing, Inc., as the newest partner in their Event Standards Program.

ATRA introduced its Event Standards Program in 2012, and recently has included vendors and suppliers as partners to further assist trail race directors in meeting ATRA’s 15 criteria necessary for staging a safe and well-organized event.

“Marathon Printing fits into our program in several ways, most notably safety. With the wearing of customized race bibs, runners can be easily identified on course,” said Nancy Hobbs, ATRA Executive Director. “Additionally, by providing items such as safety pins, pennant flagging, and reflective vests, additional logistics for race directors are addressed by Marathon Printing’s inventory. Equally important is Marathon Printing’s commitment to sustainability. All race numbers are printed on Tyvek® which can be recycled.”

“Marathon Printing, Inc. is pleased to announce its partnership and support of the American Trail Running Association,” said Ryan Zirk, manager Marathon Printing, Inc. “Our goal is to assist trail race directors by providing quality product at reasonable prices which promote events and equip them with customized race bibs, safety pins, flagging gear, and reflective vests. In business since 1989, Marathon brings a wealth of experience to the American Trail Running Association.”

Marathon Printing, Inc., joins imATHLETE, and Trail Run Project as partners in the Event Standards Program.
