Greg Cummings Sets Manitou Incline Record

On January 11, 2020, Colorado resident Greg Cummings set a record for the most number of Manitou Incline ascents in a single year. Greg climbed the 2011 vertical feet Incline 1825 times in 365 days for a total of 3.6 million vertical feet in a single year. The Manitou Incline is a one mile long former cable car track originally constructed to help with the building of pipelines on Pikes Peak and has a steepest grade of 68 degrees.
