Joseph Gray secures two major titles in mountain running
GO Sleeves partner-athlete Joseph Gray has clinched victory at the 2024 Mt. Washington Road Race and the USATF Vertical Mountain Running Championships. On June 15, Gray dominated the Mt. Washington Road Race, an all-uphill challenge renowned for attracting elite runners globally. He secured first place with an impressive time of 1:02:21, leading a field of 597 competitors to the summit of the Northeast’s highest peak.
Continuing his remarkable season, Gray also triumphed at the 2024 USATF Vertical Mountain Running Championships in Lincoln, NH, on July 7. This victory marks his 25th USA National Title, a significant milestone in his career, especially as this is his first title as a Master (40 and over). “These races have tested my limits and taught me resilience,” Gray said, reflecting on his victories. “Each title is a moment of gratitude, and I’m excited to strive for more. Thanks to everyone, especially @tomhooper603 and @loonmountainrace, for an impeccably organized championship.”
