ATRA Partners with Champion System
Trail runners nationwide will be opening their wallets in anticipation for the exciting new partnership between The American Trail Running Association (ATRA) and Champion System. The details of the agreement were recently finalized when the two parties agreed to create a custom apparel E-Store made exclusively by the technical apparel brand.
“Clothing choices are just one facet of a trail runner’s repertoire,” said Nancy Hobbs, ATRA executive director. “Partnering with Champion System to design and provide sublimated products for the public through ATRA’s new E-Store broadens those choices and further promotes the ATRA mission in the trail community. We are thrilled with the result of this partnership.”
“We started our company based on the notion that if we were going to make custom technical apparel we were going to set the standard in the industry” said Scott Kaylin co-founder of Champion System. “We built strong customer relationships and eventually began to find partnerships that made sense for our brand. When The American Trail Running Association approached us with an interest in having us design exclusively for their E-store we knew it would be a perfect match. We love what they are about.”
Designs are being finalized with items available for purchase through the E-store by early May 2015. Those items include tank tops, short sleeve shirts, long sleeve shirts, and sports bras. Additional items will include shorts, gloves, and arm warmers.
ATRA’s many programs include a comprehensive online calendar of trail and mountain running events, a quarterly newsletter – Trail Times, monthly e-blasts with current information about the sport, and an events standards program which debuted in March 2012.
ATRA will again partner with Active at Altitude for the third annual Estes Trail Ascent Trail Running Conference slated to be held October 7-10, 2015, in Estes Park, CO. Additionally, ATRA is the fund raising arm for the U.S. Mountain Running Team.
