ATRA Member Spartan Trail US Championship Coming to Fayetteville

Announcement from American Trail Running Association (ATRA) Spartan Trail. ATRA partner US Trail Running Conference will host its 2021 edition in Fayetteville, Arkansas that same week.

In partnership with Experience Fayetteville, Spartan Trail gives its first step towards their full induction into the trail running world on October 30-31, 2021.

The picturesque trail town of Fayetteville, Arkansas will host the 2021 Spartan Trail US Championship, the foundation of the long-term vision Spartan has for its trail business. Four distances in total, with two championship distances that will split a prize purse of over $12,000.

Nestled in the Boston Mountain range of the Ozarks, Fayetteville is a favorite landing place for outdoor lovers. The 620 acres Kessler Mountain Regional Park offers a variety of mixed trails, from fast to technical, for runners from all around the country. Spartan Trail US Championship distances for all ability levels are open, starting with a fun 10k Night Run on the sunset of Saturday, October 30 to begin the experience, and the main distances in the morning of Sunday, October 31. Runners can choose to sign up for a 10k, a Half Marathon (Trail Run Championship) and 50k (Trail Ultra Championship).

Fayetteville will be home to the trail running community as the race is also partnering with the US Trail Running Conference that is being hosted at the Fayetteville Town Center that same week. The conference is a resource for the trail running community, providing high quality content, networking and actionable practices to help race directors grow and develop successful trail races. Additionally, trail runners of all abilities can receive tips and techniques on how to further enjoy and excel in the sport.
