Altra footwear to partner with Aravaipa Running

Altra Footwear will be the presenting sponsor for Aravaipa Running’s 2017 & 2018 Black Canyon Ultras with the 2017 race taking place February 18.

The Black Canyon Ultras feature point to point 100k & 60k courses along the world-class Black Canyon National Recreation Trail. The 100k is a Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run qualifier for 2018 and an Altra Golden Ticket Race.

Not only will Altra be sponsoring the event, but will also have some incredible athletes from the team competing at the upcoming race including Anthony Kunkel, second overall at JFK 50 miler, Kyle Curtin, who has overall wins at the Ozark 100 and Kettle Moraine 100, Nicole Kalogeropoulos, sixth-place female at 2015 Western States 100, second femaile at Brazos Bend 50 miler, and Zac Marion, winner of the Pony Express 50 miler and Ouray 100.
