USATF’s Mountain Ultra Trail Running (MUT) executive committee announces the team roster for the 2025 Long Trail Team slated to compete at the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships in Canfranc this September. A committee comprised of athletes and USATF MUT executive committee members reviewed the resumes from candidates for eight spots on the team – four for women, four for men. These eight athletes will join the two men and two women who earned auto spots at Gorge Waterfalls 100K held on April 12, in Cascade Locks, Oregon. The selection committee included Andy Wacker, Jason Bryant, Anita Ortiz, Nancy Hobbs, Paul Kirsch, Max King, Tom Hooper, and EmKay Sullivan.
2025 USATF Long Trail Team
The 12-member squad includes two World Champions in the long trail discipline, as well as newcomers to international competition.
