XTERRA Lake Superior Shore Run

Description:

Trail run on state land and the North Country Trail and the shores of Lake Superior North of Marquette, MI at Little Presque Isle. The half marathon is rugged, with roots and rocks and a climb up to “Top of the World” which offers a breath taking panoramic view of Lake Superior. The 5K is on part of the Song Bird Trail of the North Country Trail. Some roots, but mostly a soft forest floor of pine needles, winds past the sandy shores of Lake Superior. The 1K is run through the forest of red pines, soft needles pad the trail.
