XTERRA Crystal Cove Trail Run

The 2019-2020 Season opens with the epic XTERRA Crystal Cove 15k and 6k Trail Runs!!

No more reschedules due to rain!! Hang out at the beach after!!

You can hear the waves crash as you toe the start line and with full views of the Pacific Ocean descending to the finish line. Come have fun and race the best trails in Laguna Beach, California!!



The 15K long course leads runners up fire roads to find your trail flow on the coastal, mountain top, single tracks. Drop down the Elevator and take on the Wall with some serious quad burning. The final, four-mile, gradual descent towards the Pacific Ocean gives plenty of room to charge and make up time or to just cruise and enjoy the view. 



The 6K course is a textbook breakdown of running, climbing, and crushing the downhills. Perfect for beginners looking for a challenge, this course stays on fire roads and shares the final two miles with the long course runners.



Both courses are professionally marked, staffed with excellent happy volunteers and medics, and supplied with aid stations serving Gatorade, water, and energy gels and bars.



Cheer on your friends as they finish, climb the podium in 5-year age group categories, eat all the Baja Fresh burritos you like, grab a beer in the Heretic Brewing Beer Garden (21+ only), enjoy some Campfire Adventure Coffee, get a sports massage from Vision for Enrichment, and enjoy the XTERRA racing scene.

Don’t forget to put your toes in the sand, cool them legs off, or take a couple waves only a short walk from the finish line!!

All participants get super-soft race shirts, with an option for a woman’s tank top, sweet finisher medals, a hot breakfast, and a chance for massage. Those 21 and older get two free beers.
