The Escambia County Equestrian Center, a 178-acre park will be the venue for the 10th Wildcat Ultramarathon. All race distances start at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 2. Register by August 1st to receive a custom bib number with your name printed on it, and guaranteed shirt size. This race is a USA Track & Field sanctioned and insured event (Event License ID: #137380). The Wildcat Ultras are the perfect “First” 100 mile or 100k run. The course will consist of a 2.5 mile loop that is comprised of mostly grass and dirt. The elevation gain/loss is very minimal; however, the Florida Panhandle is notorious for being extremely hot and humid this time of year! This 5k course (2.5 mile section) has been used to host the FHSAA Cross Country 2A District and Regional Championships, Gulf Coast Stampede, and Esca-Rosa Panhandle Championships. Please check your email the last week of August and make sure you go through the runner’s information packet as there will be important details listed in there that may not appear elsewhere.
