Wasatch Trail Run Series – Alta 1
10160 E Hwy 210, Alta UT, 84092, USA
The Wasatch Trail Run Series takes place spring thru summer on Wednesday evenings on the dirt trails of open space preserves and ski resorts along the Wasatch Front/Park City in Utah. The Wednesday evening races offer both a Short Course (3-5 miles) and Long Course (7-9 miles) accommodating the needs of all skill levels. Participants are placed in age based/sex categories and accumulate series points from each race. Awards are given at the end of season to the participants in each category who accumulate the most points. The race series also has a charitable component. In 2024, we donated $13,000+ in racer fees to non-profits AND performed 350+ of trail work. We are a cupless race series.
For the August 6th race plan for an EARLY RACE START TIME OF 6 PM for Long Course. Short Course will start shortly after the Long Course. This is to accommodate the Beast of a Long Course and avoid congestion as the courses utilize some of the same trails. See below important details about Long Course (cut-off time and head lamp requirement). 100% of single race registration fees for this race will be donated to our non-profit partners. All single race (non-season pass) registrants will receive a WTRS BUCKET hat.
