Description:

This rugged, remote, and very challenging 50K+ course is run entirely on single-track trails, circumnavigating Mt St Helens, an active volcano in Washington state. You’ll experience very different sides of the mountain, from lush forest, to open and exposed slopes strewn with boulders, to the moon-like blast zone. It feels more like a 50-miler than a 50K. All but 4.5 miles are run on the Loowit Trail. 7400′ elev gain and loss. This race is tough, but so are you.

The 25K gains the Loowit trail, but then loops down giving you a variety of trails and scenery. You get the volcano experience without having to go all the way around it.

Both races start and finish at Marble Mountain Sno Park.
