VIRTUAL RACE – Chaski Challenge

Description:

The Open Races – First, runners will “Choose their Challenge” and register on the Chaski Challenge website, with a 100% direct, optional donation either to the Range of Motion Project for the 5K, or to Brave Like Gabe Rare Cancer Research for the Marathon & Relay.

A.) The Chaski Classic 5K Run/Walk can be run anywhere, anytime between Sunday, September 6, 2020 and Saturday, September 12, 2020. Participants will submit their results on the Chaski Challenge website with the fastest male and female runners awarded prizes from race sponsors.

B.) The Athletic Brewing Co. Chaski Marathon & Relay can also be run anywhere, anytime between Sunday, September 6, 2020 and Saturday, September 12, 2020, but will also feature a “virtual mass start”, a live broadcast “pump up zone” featuring speakers, warm-up exercises and more, at 9am on Saturday. Athletes can run the entire 26.2 miles or compete as part of a 3-person relay team, with each runner covering 12 miles, 8 miles, or 6.2 miles, with prizes for the fastest teams and individual marathon finishers.
