Description:

The Valley Vertikiller is a challenging race showcasing the beautiful trail network on Sumas Mountain. All distances feature single track trails of varied technicality through the towering forest, over raging creeks and with stunning views of the Fraser Valley.

We’ve undergone a bit of an upgrade over the winter. Our point-to-point is now a loop, which helps to make the race faster and more flowy. The 30K is a killer with +1,700m of elevation gain. The 20K is a vertical beast with 1,100m of EG. Both distances feature a grueling ascent up to the peak of Sumas Mountain, a nice meander past picturesque Chadsey Lake and a quick rip back down the mountain to finish line festivities. With the majority of the course on single-track trails, this race will definitely test your skills. If you are wanting to dabble in the Vertikiller Lore but are looking for something a little more fluffy try our new fast and furious 10k Vericuddler. The Verticuddler has all the fun and flow without the killer climb to the peak.
