In Tierra del Fuego, will be held in February Ushuaia Trail Race, the southernmost race in the country, which has a variety of terrain, demanding mountain circuits and the Martial Glacier as its central setting.

The competition of trail running will be held at the End of the World on February 26, the routes are 50, 25 and 10 kilometers. In addition, runners with a long history, such as Roxana del Cid, have already confirmed their presence.

The start takes place in the vicinity of the Martial Glacier Reserve and in different parts of the route, the runners will find pronounced and technical ascents and descents, edges, traveling through terrain such as mountains, forests and peat. Therefore, although the poles are not part of the mandatory equipment, they become a great help. In this extreme south of the Big Island of Tierra del Fuego , the meteorological conditions are very unstable and changeable. In general, average temperatures in summer range between 8ºC and 17 ° C, and can sometimes drop to 4 or 6 ° C in mountain areas.

Taking into consideration that the weather conditions can give an unexpected turn to the event, the organization may make modifications to the routes or postpone it for the day after the scheduled time, as long as the conditions are not suitable for the activity and the runner safety.
