Description: A race in The Birthplace of Country Music and The Birthplace of Yeti Trail Running Run alongside the famed crooked river where the yeti and his friends learned to swim and fish and leave the river for a trip up to the most famous country fire tower life gets discussed and the moon gets howled at ! TROUBLESOME HOLLOW Why Troublesome Hollow? I doubt that anyone who grew up in the heart of Appalachia doesn’t have fond memories of a Troublesome Hollow or Troublesome Creek. I wanted this race name to resonate with folks who come and run the race from outside Appalachia. So they too good have fond memories of the heart of Appalachia which is Southwest Virginia! See you Soon !! Course The course is flat and fast along the river and over swinging bridges and trestles ! Just one small hill up to the Firetower !! And then a run back down to the finish !
